Sphere is unique because of its matching algorithm and ease of use for both organizers and attendees. Sphere’s algorithm helps attendees save time by suggesting only the most relevant people to network with. Unlike competitors’ listing style profiles, the swipe feature lets attendees see up to fourteen profiles per minute. It is also very easy for organizers to set up events in under two minutes and offers a variety of tools (see below) to simplify the event creating and hosting process.
The algorithm works by using your contacts in Facebook and LinkedIn to suggest people you may want to connect with. It also analyzes the people you match with on the swipe feature to suggest the most relevant potential contacts so attendees can do better networking.
Organizers can set up an event with Sphere in under two minutes. We offer push notifications to keep your attendees up-to-date at events, smart emailing, and name badges with QR codes (click here for a full list). Other features like Conference Live and Live Tweet allow attendees to comment and submit questions during the event. We also send the event organizer analytics two to four days after the event that offer insight to the connectivity and success of their event.
Sphere helps attendees by allowing them to easily set up the app by syncing their Facebook and LinkedIn accounts to jump start their experience. The event page on the app gives the event’s details and directions to the location. Once there, they are able to swipe through fellow attendees and find valuable and relevant people and chat with them instantly thanks to Sphere’s matching algorithm.
Sphere is free to download and use as an attendee and is free when using Sphere's app available on the Apple App Store and Google Play Store, but only for events with fewer than 500 people. For events greater than 500 people, pricing starts at $1000/event.
